We have recently introduced the first of a range of water-based crosslinkers for aqueous polyurethane dispersions (PUD’s).  Aqualink U  is most commonly used as a latent crosslinker in the formulation of 1-component membrane press adhesives, but it can also be used in textile and coatings applications to give storage-stable formulas which crosslink at low temperature. Our new product, Aqualink D, is similar to Aqualink U, but utilises a TDI-Free, non-aromatic isocyanate. This makes it especially suitable for use in automotive 3D-press adhesives and in coating applications (non-yellowing). We can offer advice on the formulation of all products containing Aqualink U, so please ask. We can also offer custom-design of this type of crosslinker, so do let us know your requirements.

Aqualink X	Emulsion of a blocked aliphatic, polyfunctional isocyanate. Unblocks at approx. 120 C	Metal, textile and plastic coating formulations.PUD-based heat-activated adhesive coatings.
40% Aqualink U	Dispersion of Blocked TDI Dimer	Can be used as a crosslinker for many types of polyurethane dispersions (PUD’s) as a latent 1K crosslinker or to formulate water-based alternatives to  solvent borne systems.
35% Aqualink D	Dispersion of blocked IPDI trimer	As above but with the added benefits of being TDI-Free and non yellowing
